Yes, prep makes a difference. Here's what to do before you get started:

• Clean your toy first. Rinse with warm water and mild unscented soap, or use GIDDI's FoamFresh cleaner. Do this even before the first use.
• Apply plenty of lube. Use a water-based lubricant only. Silicone-based lubes can damage the silicone surface over time, so skip those.
• Start slow. If you're new to internal play, give your body time to relax. Use gentle pressure, breathe through it, and never force anything. 
• Charge up beforehand. A full charge means uninterrupted use, so it's worth doing before every session.
• Wash your hands before and after use.
• Find a space where you're comfortable and unhurried.
• Keep a towel nearby.
